14 weeks EXTREMELY painful nipples!?

For the last week or 2, my nipples will randomly, occasionally start to burn and it is literally miserable. It usually last 20-30 minutes & I think it happens most often when I'm cold, but even when I warm up it takes forever to go away. It's making me crazy because it's happening more frequently lately, like almost every day! Anyone else dealing with this or know any tricks to soothe the pain? I've tried lotion thinking maybe it was dry skin but that didn't help. I also tried massaging my boobs but that didn't help either. Any suggestions?

I've had the same problem and really just a lot of moisturizing is all you can do. It's more of an internal issue than an external issue. Your milk ducts are opening up which causes a lot of nipple sensitivity. I also have this stuff called "keep calm nipple balm" that is like a wax and it helps a little. I believe you can buy it at Buy Buy Baby and maybe Target. But I'm at 29 weeks and still have issues with it so it's something you just have to learn to live with unfortunately.

Vaseline saved me I would put it on at night or when they really bothered me and just wear a comfortable sports bra over them.
