How was sex the first time after birth?

I'm nervous to have sex with my husband after the birth of my baby. 6 weeks will be next week. My husband has been absolutely dying for it and won't stop mentioning it. What if it's not what it used to be or it hurts? 🙈

I was terrified. I refused without lube because I was scared, but since it had been so long it was super quick and I was grateful. Every time since has been almost back to normal with the only exception that the husband is not allowed to touch the boobs. Those are for feeding only.

I had 2nd degree tears, had to rotate baby internally and a forceps delivery, I wanted nothing to do with it at 6 weeks. During my 6 week PP exam I had to hold back crying. If you are not healed than wait a little longer. We used lube and went slow the first time. I never really healed 100% until I was like 6 months post partim. However, each time it has gotten better and may even be better than before.

I was 6 weeks post partum when I saw my doctor. She recommended another 2 weeks of waiting as I was not fully healed from a 3rd degree tear. We waited another 3 weeks and it still was not comfortable for me. Go slow and only when you're ready. It's very strange at first but it gets better.

My baby is 3 mo's. When i told my husband he had to wait 6 wks after our daughter's birth. He could not believed it but understood and we just talked about how i was feeling about the first time. And told me when I'm ready to try he will take his time. But it did hurt some but it was great.

I forced myself to and because of that I wasn't very wet and because of that it kind of hurt. It felt similar to having sex for the first time. But I got over it real quick because you get so horny. It really wasn't that bad I waited only 4 weeks and felt forced. This time I'm doing it when I'm ready and with lube. Lol It feels alittle weird and you most likely won't orgasm because it will be over so quick since it's been long. x)

I tore in 4 places...currently 11 weeks pp and sex is still not the same (or even comfortable yet), but I'm giving it the old college try for my husband's sake! Each time it gets a bit better, talked to my OBGYN and he said I'm healing fine, it will just take time.

Was great, didn't hurt. Had some pains here & there afterwards throughout the day. But the sex was awesome
