Sex in first trimester after ivf?

Question

Just curious how long after a successful IVF cycle everyone waited to have sex- I haven't had any bleeding and I'm feeling good but still very nervous. I'm 5w3d.

I think I was only told to wait a few days.

I was on pelvic rest until 10 weeks. After that I was still so paranoid we have probably only had sex about 4 times (I'm 32w with twins). I had a lot of spotting and full bleeding until 15 weeks

We were told to wait 12 weeks min., just in case. Then they found a placenta issue and we are still waiting .... However better safe than sorry.

Thanks so much for the feedback ladies! I haven't had any bleeding and I feel good but I guess better to be safe than sorry. My hubby and I planned a trip thinking that if it didn't work wed have a nice get away and if the cycle did work wed have a babymoon now that it is a babymoon we want to enjoy but I think you're all right that it's better to be safe than sorry
