Laparoscopy ? Anyone had it done?

I might have to have a laparoscopy done soon and just wanted to know if anyone has had it done and what was your experience? I'm a little nervous!

Just be prepared for all the gas trapped in you chest and stomach. I had never had one and nobody told me what to expect after and I thought something was wrong ( like I was having a great attack it something)  lol but after a few days it gets much better.

Just had one two weeks ago. Just make sure you have someone to help you the first day. After that I took it easy but did walk around. It seems like that helped me recover pretty quickly. The gas and constipation is the worst. Make sure to take the meds they give u for that. Overall wasnt as bad as I expected but it isnt a stroll in the park. Good luck!

I've had one in feb I was sooo nervous but all went fine ....tell them to go steady with the gas . Also peppermint cordial get plenty in it will help with the recovery xxx
