So on a school night I send my almost 11 year old upstairs at 7pm to go shower, then she can watch a film, read a book, play on her tablet whatever she wants in her room so me and my partner can have some time to ourselves, but at 9pm it's time to go to sleep, she's up at 7am for school. Lately she's been moaning (probably because it's summer nights) that she's not tired and I send her to bed too early? On a weekend I let her stay downstairs later but has to be in bed at 10pm.
