For those who already gave birth, breathing monitor?

Hi ladies, for those who already gave birth. Are you using breathing/movement monitors. If so, which ones and what are your thoughts on it?

No. They're not necessary for healthy babies. My midwives and NP advise against them due to false alarms and increased anxiety.

Yes, snuza. I get peace of mind because my baby needs to nap separately from everyone else because she's such a light sleeper!

My daughter slept in a rock and play next to our bed for the first four months, but once she was in her own room, I needed the peace of mind so I could sleep! We used an angelcare monitor. It worked great until she was about a year old, then we started getting a ton of false alarms suddenly. I don't know if it broke or she just go so big the weight messed it up. I'm trying to decide now whether I want another angelcare or something else for #2.
