Dilated Feeling?

I'm a ftm due Sept 10, and sometimes lately I feel as though I have a tampon in, which is weird because obviously I do not. Is this what dilating feels like? No pain, just a random occasional bh contraction. I am seeing my OB tomorrow, but the curiousity is getting to me.

No, that isn't what dialating feels like. Some women can dialate a bit near the end without feeling anything and others have period like cramps or mills contractions but while you feel the pain of the muscles contracting, you don't actually feel your cervix dialating. Other than contractions you can't tell by feel if you're dialated or how much.
