Signs of labor?

I'm a ftm at 39w5d. For the last week, I've had this on/off cramping in my lower pevlis and abs above my stomach. It's like a slight "humming" then it will intensify for a few seconds and then go back to the humming. I haven't had anything like what people describe contractions to be. I have alot of sharp stabbing pain in my pelvis, cervix, and vagina. I have to stop moving and let it go away before I can go back to normal.

Is this labor?

I also wanted to mention I've lost my plug, water has not broke, and I haven't had a strong nesting urge... maybe because I had everything done a month ago for her arrival. I have been going to the restroom alot for numbers one and two.
