help!!

my 6 week old thinks its funny to be wide awake all night & sleep all day? i try to keep him awake during the day, but regardless how long he's awake he stays awake all night. he normally goes to bed around 10-11 and sleeps till 12 or 1 then stay awake till 5,6,7, sometimes 8 then sleeps till 11-12 then goes back to sleep till 4! ive tried waking him playing with him. its been like this for the past week. im trying to get him on a schedule but now its been almost impossible since he wants to switch up all the sudden!
