He's Here 👶🏽

Calissa
I was due June 2nd and he came on the 30th! So glad to meet my little one!! I was wrapping up a proposal at work so I never officially took my 2 weeks vacation and that day (June 29th) I was having BH which I was timing and my daughter had a closing event for her skills camp. So I was working all day, timing contractions, went to my daughters event in labor then went home to finish my proposal for work. At midnight I emailed my coworkers and told them I have done all I could and I now need to go to the hospital since I couldn't bear the pain and my contractions were at 3 mins for quite some time. I went to the hospital 45 mins later and got there after midnight. At 10:51, Tavi Joshua was born!! I had a c-section with my first and really wanted a VBAC, I did get to deliver him vagibally so I'm so happy and excited!! He got to 10cm and I pushed him out with a 2nd degree tear, it's unbelievable that the only pain I have is sore muscles from pushing and holding my knees back so my legs an darn muscles are sore. I nearly feel the pain from the tear. So much easier than the c-section. As soon as he was born all the contraction pain was gone right away. I'm so happy and thank God for our special delivery. Best wishes to all of you July ladies!!
Here's a pic of him and my 6 year old.
