Unsure

I took a test when I first woke up today (about 8 am) and it looked negative to me. So I threw it away. But when I came home from work (about 6 pm) I had a weird feeling about it and couldn't help myself so I looked at it again. This time, there was a vfl with color. I read somewhere that anything with color is a BFP, no matter how long after you take it. But I know it was way after the 10 minute mark, so is it an evap that had color?
