Clingy baby

My babes is 7 weeks today. He's normally a pretty good baby but I've been noticing he isn't napping too long during the day unless it's on me or in the car. When I put him down or take him out of the car he wakes right up and screams until I pick him back up. He's been sleeping usually through the night , good to bed around 930/10 and sleeping til 5/6 am ,has a bottle and gets up around 830/9 am. Today he is extra clingy and crabby and wouldn't even stay in his swing. Anyone else have adivce for this? I just don't want him used to napping on just me and I don't believe in letting him cry it out this young.
