Period won't stop

I got implanon put in my arm about a month ago. I had my normal period at the time and it stopped. Now it's a lot lighter but has kept going for the whole week (usually it lightens and stops after 6 days). It's not like heavy bleeding, it's more like spotting. Will it stop? It's very annoying and sexually frustrating.... Haha!
