Letrozole (femera) 1st round
Ladies, my husband and I have been ttc for 17 months now. I was on clomid for 5 rounds that wasn't doing anything for me. I still wasn't having a period so in between round 3/4 my dr prescribed me provera, which only did its job one time. I was a hot mess. I went to a place I wish on no one. With the help of my husband I told my dr I wasn't taking the final round of clomid and not trying another round of provera either. She put me on two rounds of birth control in order to straighten my hormones out (this is good this is what I wanted). After my second period on birth control I took my first round of 5mg of letrozole. I feel much better about this medication and on it too.
I guess what I'm trying to ask is how many of you have had positive outcomes on letrozole vs clomid. I will be doing a 21 day progesterone test the end of next week. Fingers crossed.
***update! *** I'm pretty sure I didn't conceive this round. I feel as if i may start in the next day or two, which is good if I don't have to drug induce it to start! Here's to staying positive for the next/final round of letrozole.
