Progesterone suppositories - front or back?

Soo I just did my first IUI and the doctor has prescribed progesterone suppositories for me twice a day. I've used 2 so far and I already feel like I'm getting a yeast infection (has anyone gotten one from the suppositories??). We also had sex last night about an hour after the suppository and I just felt gross. Has anyone used them the 'other' way? Reviews? Any tips or advice would be much appreciated. Can't imagine doing this for the next 3 months.

Unless directed by your doctor, I was always told no sex following the iui procedure and intercourse that takes place the day (or two) after. It did lead to a BFP for us and we've still be instructed to avoid intercourse ever since. We've been using the suppositories, also.

My APRN said no intercourse after you've put the medication in.  So I told my husband that if he wanted some he'd have to plan accordingly 😉. I personally didn't have any issues with any sort of infection. Good luck!

I ended up being allergic to them. I am very sensitive with sticking anything up there so they had me switch to shots (which sucked). I was told there was a pill but not a lot of pharmacies carry them..

The first time I used them I got a yeast infection.  The second time picture a dog rubbing its ass on the carpet that was what I wanted to do

I'm not sure you can put them in your bum. They need to be close to the cervix.

I make sure to put one in right before bed so I don't have to worry about sex with it in. If husband wants to do something after the fact that's his problem, haha. As far as the yeast infection, I've never had that issue but you can talk to your doctor about alternative ways to take it.

I'm in the same boat. I've started yesterday and feel disgusting and am honestly dreading intercourse. I feel disgusting.
