How many ultrasound do you get for the whole pregnancy?

pregnancy?" /> I am wondering how many ultrasound should I get for pregnancy. It is my first pregnancy, I already have one ultrasound at 6 week. I do know when they gonna schedule me the next one.

I was high risk....I got 10+.... but the average uncomplicated pregnancy typically gets 2.

I was just given them at 12 weeks to check the baby was growing ok and again at 20 weeks to make sure everything that was supposed to be there was there and to tell the gender. That's all I have had (and anyone in UK has unless they are high risk) and I'm now 35 weeks pregnant. Didn't think I could cope without anymore but it got easier once I was feeling kicks

Some people get a dating scan, anatomy scan, and growth scan and some only get an anatomy scan it depends on your doctor and insurance I personally had over 30 ultrasounds

I got the initial ultrasound, then got one at the beginning of my second trimester then my anatomy at 20 weeks.  They said I most likely won't get another one unless something is wrong

I think 2-3 is typical, unless you elect to have more or you are high risk. I'm 30 weeks and I have had 2, one for dating and one for gender. I have one more around 35-37, I guess to check the positioning of the baby. I didn't elect to do any additional ultrasounds.

Usually one at the beginning and one around 18-20 wks for your anatomy scan unless you are high risk or other complications come up. It also depends on your doctor and where you live as well, otherwise if you have more than usual it's from ppl paying out of pocket

My doctor has an ultrasound machine in his office so I've had 3 already, I'm 21 weeks.

I think this also depends on the situation.  I am having 5 weekly ultrasounds (weeks 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10), and then another with my regular OB at week 12.  And that is just right now.

I've had 4 dr appts and I've gotten to see baby every time. I'm not high risk or anything. It's nice to see baby because I still don't feel PG! I'm 15+4 with #3
