When do you start packing???

Question

If you know exactly when you are moving and let's say you are moving around mid August, (today is July 5th) when exactly would you start packing? 
I'm just looking for advise? 
I'm not too crazy about having everything in boxes as of now LoL.

Is start packing the thing you don't need it use now. Then you won't be so stressed about time later.

It really would depend on how much stuff you have and how busy you are . If you have things that you are not going to use in the next month, pack it now or 2 weeks before. Things that you really have to pull apart I would do that in advance aswell. Can also pack away the clothes you aren't using this season. Everything else a week in advance should be fine. My place is small and we don't have a lot of things so we don't really need to pack until maybe 3 days before we move in August lol

Girl. Start now. Start with everything off the walls, all books, all decor, everything that you wear in the off season, extra kitchen stuff.... It creeps up on you and there's always more than you realize. Don't wait until two weeks before!

I managed to pack our 2 bedroom basement suite in 3 weeks right before Christmas when we found out we could move into our new place sooner.

Well, how much do you have to pack? I'm moving across the country in mid August too, but I have a small closet's worth of clothes, some random stuff in a few drawers, a bed and a dresser that need to be packed and put into my Tahoe. And I won't start thinking about packing until 2 weeks before! I guess I'll actually start one week before.
If you have a lot of stuff, or if you know you won't have a lot of extra time in the next few weeks, start now. But if you can go ahead and set aside 2 or 3 days just for packing in the coming weeks, then wait until then.

I'm moving across the country July 11th. Currently, we have 75% of the house packed. We started packing a month or so ago, maybe a little bit more. We pack a little bit more every day and pack furniture on weekend (no one has work, more time).
