Underarms vs. armpits

Does anyone have any tricks to get rid of the underarm shadow? Even after I've shaved, I can still see a dark shadow due to the hair under the skin and it's super annoying! I've tried waxing, sugaring, and shaving and nothing changed it. I secretly envy women who have nice underarms- I know that's a super random thing...
