Worried elective section any different to emergency. Recovery?

I'm 38 weeks today with 5th baby. Got 4 boys already all induced 2 weeks after due dates first emergency c section. Their 17, 15, 11, 4 and pregnant with my princess finally 😊 but she's laying transverse right little madam she is lol so booked in for next Wednesday for a csection. I'm worried because I didn't recover well with my first and struggled so much. Would this one be easier? With it been an elective? Anyone been though them?

Elective are supposed to be easier than emergency. But I've not gone through either.

My emergency section was hell. I had an elective one almost 4 years ago no pain after the drugs wore off I was up and walking and could actually hold my baby without pain.Breastfeeding  didn't hurt and I never had any pain after I left the hospital like I did the first time. I have my 2nd scheduled one in 12 days!

I had a emergency it didn't bother me at all and second one was even better the more you have the less they hurt I also have had 3 vaginal births

Sorry to hear that. Wondering how was your first VBaC? I had a c section with my first and now trying for a Vbac. They are only letting me go in to labor on my own before due date. I'm 38+5 today. C section schedule for the 15! Nervous he won't come. My daughter wasn't ready at 40 weeks 3 days I got induce for low fluids and didn't had her till 40 weeks 5 days with c section.
