Heartburn remedies anyone?

Can any recommend some remedies for me. I am 5 months pregnant and all day I have had a tight burning in my chest and back with tingling down my arm, shortness of breath and slight sickness. It feels like a trapped nerve cross with gas. My mum (who is a registered nurse) thinks it is gastric reflux but I have tried milk, yogurt, rennies and even a fizzy drink to shift any gas. But I am still in agony.
