Formula at night??

My LO is EBF and nurses every 1.5 hours. She only sleeps 1.5-2 hours at night. I've been told formula might keep her full longer. Any mamas have luck with giving a bottle in the evening before bed?

I was EBF at first until I had to supplement because my baby was born jaundiced. I noticed he slept longer stretches with formula. I know only breastfeed during the day and I give him formula for bed time. Goes down around 10:30-11 and wakes up for his second feeding around 3:00/4:00 am. Then goes back to sleep and doesn't wake up till about 6:00/7:00. I then move him over to my bed to breastfeed him.

It seems he sleeps longer with formula. I also use formula if I need to go run errands and he is closer feeding. It keeps him off my breast for a little while I take care of errands

Have you tried more feedings during the day? I EBF and that helps my LO sleep longer at night. She sleeps at least 6 HR stretchs by 7 weeks. Plus I can roll over feed her and go back to sleep. I formula fed my first and he was still hungry all the time. Every baby is different and grows at different rates. Hope that helps a bit

I seriously wouldn't! You risk messing with your milk supply. If you're not feeding or pumping at night, your supply could suffer
