At my first doc app, I'll be 6 weeks and 6 days, that they'll do a sonogram? First time mom here with no idea! ❤️

They usually don't do one until after 8 weeks, unless they calculated ur EDD wrong. I told my nurse the first time on the phone that I knew I was about 4 weeks but after SHE calculated my first day of last period  (very innacurate way of calculating), she says I'm 6 weeks! I told her no way I was 6 weeks, since that would not add up with when I KNEW I had sex.  But whatever..she told me to come in in 2 weeks for first ultrasound. When I did, the same nurse said :" u are two weeks behind" she said I was still at 6 weeks and embryo didn't grow past that and I should expect a miscarriage. .. I told her she's insane, because I KNEW I was earlier than she told me on the phone and according to MY calculations I am right on time,  at 6 weeks. Changed doctors...and offices.. new doctor saw me right away,  ultrasound -she said I was 6 weeks two days( on time and all looked normal- heartbeat at 165) here's the ultrasound from 6 weeks two days and here is the 3d ultrasound from 22 weeks. Tomorrow I have the 26 weeks 4d ultrasound. 
Moral of the story. .. u should really wait til 8 weeks til get an ultrasound unless u want to run the risk of not seeing anything or doctors being assholes about it..

I got a ultrasound at 6 weeks and a couple days and was able to see my little girl.

There just isn't much to see that early. It's possible that they will do a viability scan, but both times my doctors waited until 8-10 weeks to do the first ultrasound.
