How long should I wait after my period to have sex?

My period will be gone today (I'm still bleeding but it's extremely light. I'll stop by tomorrow morning). Last time my period went, and on that same day I had sex (I started to bleed for two extra days). I just want to be sure that I don't bleed when we do it tomorrow (if we do).
