How long is acceptable time to wait for your man to text you?

I think it depends on how far along the relationship is. If you are still in the beginning stages of dating then it's not odd to go a day or two without hearing from them. Once the relationship is serious his response should be more timely. My fiancé works a high stress job that blows up his phone at all hours. Sometimes it's 2-3 hours before he can respond to a text. If he Isn't working, I expect a reply within the hour.

It depends on the situation. How long have you been dating? Does he work a lot? Or odd hours? Is he in school?

If my man don't text me what he wants for finner i don't cook it simple as that because if i choose he will moan he didn't want my choice. So daily for me. If also rides a motorbike and i expect him to text me when he arrives at work and when leaving so i know hes ok and what time to expect him back this is more so i know hes not come off. If hes away i let him have his space and he will usually text couple times a day still.

Depends my boyfriend usual text me every few hours when he's at work but when isn't he texts back within 30 minutes or less to an hour some days my boyfriend doesn't text me at all cuz of his long 12 hour shifts and sometimes he's busy all day just because your man don't text you back right away don't mean he's cheating he could actually be busy too people work and people also do other things besides text you all day lol

i mean my boyfriend stopped texting me almost a month ago to the point where i just told myself that i was done with this bs and games. if it is anything over a week of no response, i would try to contact him and if then no response, just try to accept that it may be over. sadly.
