Have any of you August moms delivered at 33 weeks? If yes, please comment about how your baby is doing. My doctor doesn't think I will make it much longer.

I had my baby boy on Father's Day of this year at 33weeks and 2 days. He was 4lbs. 10oz. He is doing really good and has already gained a pound.  He was taken off of oxygen two days ago. The only thing we are working on now is eating. They say that's the hardest part. They think he will be in the NICU for another week or two. So total 3-4 weeks stay in the NICU.

My best friend delivered just a few days past 33 weeks and her daughter is now a happy and very healthy 6 month old! She was right around 4lbs and only stayed in the nicu for 2 1/2 weeks before being released. She's 17 lbs now and is in the 90 percentile for height and is right on track developmentally and you'd never know she was a premie. If you have to deliver soon just try to take it easy and know that everything will be just fine! Good luck mamma!
