Hubby's grandfather only has a few weeks to live and I just got a positive test today (4.5 weeks and our first pregnancy, I'm 30). It will be the first great-grandchild in his family and I know the news would thrill him.

My dilemma is to tell or not to tell. If we tell Grandpa (and Grandma) they will tell everyone as they canNOT keep a secret.

Am I being selfish/overly cautious? Would you make an announcement this early because of his health? Is it fair to tell them and ask them to not tell anyone else and then risk others having hurt feelings because they weren't told?
