Was supposed to be at the hospital at 6 am
Was supposed to be at the hospital at 6 am. Well I over slept and got here at 7. Got all hooked up and checked was at 4 cm. They started the pitocin and Mason flipped sunny side up. After laying in funky postions he flipped back. By 9 am the contractions were strong and hard. Tried to go natural but by 1230 I couldn't handle it anymore. And got the epidural at 6 cm. They broke my water at 10 cm around 130 145. There was meconium present. So we had to wait for the pediatrician to get here. He showed up about 2 pm. Two pushes and 7 minutes later Mason was born. No stitches needed at all. Which is a first for me. It actually took longer to get the placenta out than it did to push Mason out. He is perfect at 6 pounds 4.7 ounces. 19 1/2 inches long. As of now im ok extremely sore and all jiggly.
