Glucose test- horrible or not?

I had the test done today and I was surprised at how it wasn't even that bad! I was expecting it to be the worst thing I had ever tasted based off of what people told me. I guess it's good that I went to it with that mindset because I was pleasantly surprised at how tolerable it was.

Maybe it was just me, but after 45 min of it being in my system I began to feel hot flashes. I also started to sweat and feel
Light headed... 8 min later I rushed to the bathroom to throw up. I was so mad at myself because I almost made it. Better luck next time lol

One hour is okay. Three hour...that's a diff story. Double the sugar in the same amount of liquid, and blood drawn every hour for three hours. Talk about torture.

It didn't taste bad to me but both the 1hr and the 3hr made me feel pretty sick. Worst part was the phlebotomist ran out of veins on the 3hr and had to stick my wrists, they were super bruised and painful after!

I was expecting it to be more syrupy... it's like a melted Mr Freeze or slush (still cold, but no ice); wasn't the worse thing.

I took the 1hr test and got real hot and felt nauseas about 10-15mins after drinking it down. The taste wasn't too bad. Like a flat orange soda. But I failed it. And I refuse to take the 3 hour test. I am not doing it!

I had to do the 1 hr and 3 hr after I failed by 1 miserable point. Passed the 3 hr with flying colors. Neither was horrible to me. I mean the drink isn't delicious, and I wouldn't want to drink it for fun - but neither one made me sick or anything. 3 hr drink is thicker and sweeter, but overall not terrible. Waiting for 3 hours and getting multiple blood draws was the bad part.

3 hour test is much worse..I was nauseous and had a tummy ache after drinking the drink..it was terribly sweet and thick like..it have to say the 3 hour sucked so bad:/ the 1 hour is definitely tolerable when comparing the 2.

I had to practically chug the glucose drink in front of the nurse and that made me sooo queasy, but it tasted fine and when I got outside and got some fresh air I was fine

The one hour was fine. The three hour was awful. I threw up the first time I attempted it. It is twice the amount of glucose as the one hour test.
