OVULATION MEDS QUESTION

So my question is when you are put on either clomid, metformin, provera etc I know it's to help women ovulate so that we are able to try and get pregnant my question is does it also make u loose weight in the process because I'm trying to figure out what my obgyn should put me on because I have pcos and I'm over weight and I know If I was to get pregnant I have a greater chance to miscarry and etc due to my weight....help
