My company went through a pretty big overhaul a couple months ago. All of management walked out. Started their own company. A new DON was hired. I was asked to be interim supervisor 3 days a week and continue working in the field 2 days a week. Ok cool.

Now it seems that the new DON wants rid of me. I don't get it. I do what she asks. I maintain my patient load. I am on day 13 of working in a row. She took the weekend and went out of town even though we are short nurses, so I worked the weekend to help out. Wtf is going on. I was assured by the owner of the company that when I have the baby, I ca work from home for a few weeks so I don't completely lose all pay. But now the DON told me three days ago that they don't have anything for me to do in the office, and tried to send me to a location that is over an hour from home for me, to work for 8-9 hours a day. It's the first time I said no. And she very much said that if I can't do it then I'm not really useful anymore. WHAT THE HELL?!
