Should the glider go in the nursery or bedroom?

My glider/rocker is coming in today. Little man will be here any time. Although he has a nursery with a beautiful crib, we also have a basinet in our bedroom which he will probably be using most for the first little while. So I'm not sure if I should put the chair in our bedroom or keep it in the nursery. Any opinions? What worked best for you mamas? Did your baby spend more time in your bedroom or their nursery after just being born? Thanks!!
