Hmm let nature take its course or induce?

Question

Yesterday seen ny midwife and she said next week I'm 38 wks. So I either set a date for induction or simply have her stimulate my cervix so I can go into labor natural way.. I'm so tired. It's too hot and dealing with my toddler is no joke and today is my last day of work.. So i should tell her my decision by Thursday.. I'm really aiming induction. And before I forget I went to my NST yesterday as well and I had about 5 contractions in between 30 mins.. Idk I really want to hold my beasty lol.. 
What would you guys do?

Full term is 40 weeks. My midwife doesn't do anything until 41 weeks. Personally, I would just relax and let nature do its thing.

I would go  natural hun being induced doesn't always work and its way more painful and might end up with csection😕

That's very personal. I'm 38+5 and getting a little tired now and pretty painful but I'm still going natural. I also have a midwife and I don't think she'll even do a vaginally exam until 41 weeks unless there's a problem. I guess it just depends how you're feeling!

Try eating dates, walking more, having sex, etc... do everything you can to naturally coax your body into labor. I'm also feeling like you. I'm considering induction also, but I'm reeeeeally hoping I just go into labor soon.

I'm preparing for both mentally. I think we'd all prefer to go into labor naturally, but with almost all of my female family members there have been complications. My mom and her sister started active labor, dilated to between a 5-6, and then just stopped dilating, even though contractions continued. They both had to do a pitocin drip to finish labor, and had they been having babies now, I'm 90% positive my mom would have had a c-section. I shouldn't need that, although it's fine if that's what gets baby out safely. I don't know... I would prefer to go into labor naturally, but I'm really done being pregnant, and if she's not here by 40 weeks, I will definitely be considering an induction
