Natural Vs Unmedicated Birth
My Lamaze teacher made the differentiation in her class and I wish it would catch on!
Growing and delivering a human being is one of the most natural things our bodies can do - and if I want some medicine to help the pain, that means I'm having a medicated birth, not an "un-natural" one. Calling an un-medicated birth a "natural" one, implies that anyone that uses medicine is having an "un-natural" one.
I know nobody means any harm by it, I just think it's an easy change to make so we can lift up ALL mamas, no matter how the baby came out! 🙌🏻❤️💪🏻
