Help - infected
Hey ladies,
So at about my 4 week mark pp, I realized I had a really bad infection on my incision. Went to the hospital and turned out that there was also a hole. A few days after I received a phone call from the hospital saying the results came back that I had strep bacteria on my incision. Horrible. It took a long time to heal and to feel better, with tons of meds.
Fast forward to a week ago, I noticed a sharp feeling in my breast tissue. Turns out I have a bacterial infection on my breasts, I'm nervous it's strep and that it traveled (apparently that's normal), I'm on antibiotics and it's not helping at all.
Anyone have a bacterial breast infection? If so, what happened? How long did it last? Anything I can do to speed up recovery?
Desperate.
