After the Sun Sets (a poem about impressions)

Mi
She might have rays of sunshine in her smiles throughout the day. And she might have eyes that glitter, sparkling jewels. She might see rainbows in rain pouring down from gray clouds, a symphony of drops falling each way. And she might have radiance in all her hues.
But after the sun sets, when the sky is encompassed in the blanket of night, you'll find that she's more than  just sunlight. You'll find that she has mysterious moonlight deep in her bones. You'll find craters in her heart, but although it's been hurt, it still shines bright. You'll find that although she likes the day, the night is her true home. You'll find that she can't be confined in a one dimensional ray, she's a special star whose full brightness you have to look closer to see. You'll find that although she confides in solitary she's not alone. Most of all you'll find that yes she's innocent, but not naïve.
