Okay with SO going to strip club?

My husband's best friend texts him almost once a week asking him to go to a strip club with him. The last time, my husband said no, because his wife wouldn't like it. His friend's response was "So just lie! She doesn't have to know!" Luckily my husband held his ground and said he wasn't interested, but I'm still really bugged with his friend for pressuring him like that.
I brought it up with my mother- and father-in-law the next day, and instead of addressing that I was upset with my husband's friend, they asked me why I would even care if my husband DID go, told me the fact that I would shows that I'm insecure in our relationship and have some issues I have to work out on my own, and "it doesn't matter where they get the appetite, as long as they come home at night".
First of all, I'm completely shocked by this, as my in-laws are both deeply religious people. Second, am I really that out of line for not being okay with that?

I am on your side. I am however insecure about myself. I'm not a skinny girl and the porn he watches is all skinny beautiful girls. It makes me feel like I'm not what he really wants. He says I am but if that's the case why does he always look at tiny girls? I would NOT be ok with him going to the strip club and I also know he would not be ok with me doing it either. I even told him how I felt about the porn but, that didn't do any good. Insecurities are a bitch.

Every relationship is different. My and my husband do not do that. It's a choice. Don't listen to the in laws because they are looking at it as "our son" is going to a strip club instead of a woman's husband going to a strip club.also don't talk to parent about issued in your marriage.  Plus seems like hubby needs to get rid of those friends if they don't respect the relationship. We had to do that too because they thought I was "tripping" that my husband couldn't do what they do.

My Husband and I went to a strip club once when we were dating because his friends pressured us into going. I hate it. I hate the porn thing, I hate the strip clubs. I feel disgusted with him when he asks if he can go. Once I told him about how I felt he never asked to go and turned his friends down when they asked. As for the porn thing, he says he stopped watching it because I was uncomfortable. He has given me no reason not to believe him. I know all guys watch it. It's a given. I hope things get better for you. Make your frustrations known! Even if you bring it up a lot, keep bugging.

I'm okay on SOME WEEKENDS . Haha sometimes I'm like you should go, others I'm like BITCH YOU WANNA DIE? but she still hasn't gone because she doesn't want to. Or if her friends ask her to go out she always asks me if I wanna come, of course I say no because I don't wanna be in a smoked filled 10x10 room but that's just me. Haha I believe that if my wife wanted some other coochy she would just cheat and not go to a strip club. It's just for fun, we've gone together and I'm not a party girl at all, I didn't really enjoy it but it was a good way for me to get the insecurities out. Lol. I was just like, okay she has a nice body, but not the face hahaha. Wrong to say? Oh well!

I would be more pissed off at the fact that his friends told him to just lie. He should not be hanging around those type of people.
If his friends asked him to go I would say "if you go to a strip club, then I get to go to a male strip club with my friends" and if he doesn't like that response HE CANT GO. Simple.
