Can anyone help.

I am a week and two days late. I took a test three days I was late and I got a very faint positive and then two days later I tested again. But I got a negative on that one. I haven't got my period yet and my doctor told me not to test again until I'm two weeks late. She said most time you don't know for sure if your pregnant until you're two weeks late. Has anyone else heard that before. And what does everyone think I should do. Do you think I am pregnant or not?
