Weird question about fetus.

Every now and then I feel what could best be desribed as a hiccup, but they're so close together it almost feels more like a heartbeat.  I put my hand on where I feel it on my belly and I can feel it through my belly.  Is this hiccups?  Can you feel hiccups through on the outside?  I'm freaking myself out that my daughter has a condition where her heart is outside of her body.  Please give me some peace of mind!!😳
