Nipple piercings?😦

My 21st birthday is coming up and I thought what better way to celebrate and get nipple piercings (I've always wanted them). I am however a little concerned about the pain.  the whole idea of a needle going through my nipple freaks me out a little so if anyone has any nipple piercing advice please help lol 😐

P.s does it interfere with future breast feeding?

I just got mine pierced lastnight. It's like a big pinch, but it only last a couple seconds. Lastnight they were pretty sensitive when I was getting ready for bed, so I took a Tylenol and it was fine. All day today they haven't hurt at all. I'm in love with them!!! Best decision ever.

I'm 17 years old and I have them pierced. The piercer I went to was very clean and knew what he was doing. The process is they clean your nipples, put the dots where it needs to be done, clamp them, then stick the needle through. I have many piercings and this was probably the most painful but tolerable. The second nipple hurts more because you know the pain your expecting lol. Pain was probably 8/10. But I've had them for a month now and they seem pretty heeled up. I wouldn't recommend Breast feeding because of the bacteria affiliated with the piercing; puss, crusties ect. Other than all that I'm in love with them and glad I got them done!

Although I don't have nipple piercings, my sister did and she said that the pain was tolerable. Your nipples do become more sensitive after you've had them pierced. The only way that it will affect breastfeeding is if you don't properly take care of your wounds. Make sure you put the medication they give you, and disinfect it frequently. If you don't, you could get an infection resulting in you not being able to breast feed in the future.
