How much would you pay me as a babysitter?

I'm 20 years old. I'm halfway done nursing school, starting my 3rd year in September. I have CPR including infant resuscitation, basic first aid, WHMIS, Foodsafe, and babysitting certification obviously (I've taken it twice actually), and I have plenty of experience. Most of my references would even say that I'm the only person they let watch their kids. I'm just looking to get an idea because I don't really know the going rate 😮 looking into it because I need to save money to pay for my bunny's surgery :[ any comments are appreciated!

I would pay around $15/hr and if its after hours lets say past 10ish $20/hr

Definitely no lower than 10 depending on the family probably like 12-15 and would go up over time. It also depends on how many kids and what time of day a lot of people give a little extra during night hours!

I charge $10 an hour u less it's family then I only charge $8 or so it free. Depending on the family you babysit for, they might not be able to afford $10. On the other hand you can go up from $10. Always ask for something higher first so if you want to do $10 start at $15 and then work your way till $10.

Honestly with all that extra experience you should be getting at like 20 / 25 if the kid is an infant or toddler. You can go online and apply through an agency or word of mouth is better... See if any of the families you've already worked with know people willing to pay that much.
