40 weeks and 3 days, woken up by contractions at 5:30 this morning by contractions. Went in to doctor at 8:30 and was only dilated to 2.5. Went home to rest and things really picked up! So much pain! I was induced with first so natural contractions are new to me. Went back to doctor at 1:30 and was a 4. So they sent me over to L&D (across the street from my doctor yay!) I tested positive for the Strep B crap so got my antibiotics and then went ahead and got an epidural. I was planning on going natural, but my body wasn't tolerating the contractions well at all, and I'm just happy I got to skip the pitocin (main concern!). Now we are just waiting for our precious girl #2!
