What are your babies sleeping in

FTM here and idk what to put my baby in when we first bring him home. We have a crib in the nursery but I want him in my room with us for the first few months as I'll be breastfeeding and just to have him close. I have a pack and play with the newborn adjustable part but is that ok? Should I just bite the bullet and buy a bassinet? I didn't want to waste the money if the pack and play will suffice. Any suggestions?
