Here's my birth story. (kinda long)

The day of my induction i tried everything to get a head start so me being my mexican self i made me some comino (cumin) tea yea sounds nasty but its not that bad then i had the cinnamon with chocolate abuelita (grandma chocolate) and went on a long walk to walmart. I started feeling tons of pressure and every step i took just kept making it worse but i kept going until i told my husband i couldn't walk anymore, he was already feeling unconfortable with me walking and being so big and trying to induce myself (scary cat 😆). I still had 10 hours before being induced so i went home and try to rest but i still kept feeling pressure and ofcourse couldn't sleep knowing i was going to be in excruciating pain in a few hours.

Got to the hospital at midnight and i was still at a tight 3 😐 but atlease i was having 4 minute apart contractions, started pitocin at 2am got a bit more painful but i could still handle it. The kept increasing my doses and around 8am i was already suffering but i waited to get checked before getting any pain meds, got checked and i was at a 3-4 (super dissapointed) my dr came in a broke my water after that i was crying from the pain but i was afraid of stalling labor so i waited to see if i could progress without the epidural and got something else to relax me which only gave a high but i still felt everything. Got checked again at a 4 and asked for the epidural i just couldn't handle it anymore. Got the epidural at 9:15 and felt so much better still felt everything tho just not the contractions which was more than enough. Within and hour the nurse came to switch positions, the second i layed on my left side i felt some really strong preassure and the baby was not feeling it his heart rate kept dropping but the nurse said it was the position i was in the preassure just kept getting worse and so she checked and then smiled at me and said "so thats why your feeling all the preassure! Your at a 10 and +2" i was so shocked i dialated 6cm within and hour after getting the epidural i started shaking like crazy from the adrenalin and she went to call my dr and we were gonna practice push. I begin pushing at about 10:30 and shit got real! I felt EVERYTHING! Every push everything stretching just every single thing but i kept pushing and at about 10:50 she told me to stop pushing and asked my MIL to go find someone since my dr wasnt there yet, 2 mins later my dr. showed up in a nice white shirt which i instantly knew i was going to ruin 😆 but he got enough time to dress up and i pushed one last time and at 10:56 my stud muffin Nolan was born at 7 lb 2oz. 20 inches long 39w2d. Everything happen so fast and it was the worse pain of my life but so worth it, and the mexican part of me think the tea helped but who knows 😁.
