How to make him comfortable

So, me and my boyfriend have been together for about 9 months now. We've been like fooling around and stuff like that but never fully sex. Every time I ask him about it he always says "I wanna make it really romantic and perfect". Backstory on us, me and him have never had sex with anyone before. So, I was wondering how do I make him feel more comfortable. I don't have any problems with waiting or anything like that especially since I have really bad anxiety and it comes up randomly. We've talked about getting married and having kids, I just want him to feel comfortable around me :)
