Do any of you know how to shave without getting razor burn?

Question

I was wondering if any of y'all successfully shave without getting razor burn? If so, how do you do it? I've tried so many different things but I ALWAYS get the most ugly, painful razor bumps :(

coconut oil, shave more often & use conditioner when shaving 💝 (also, this ones ovbious, but use new razors if you can and go over spots more than once!)

use coconut oil! and when you shave make sure your using a clean razor and shave the way your hair is going and don't keep going over it hope this helps

Recently, I've tried a few things that *seem* to work. 
1. I use disposable razors, cause it needs to be very clean and sharp! So I only use the same razor three times and then a new one. I use regular Venus shaving cream (a lot of it!)
2. Immediately after drying I apply coconut oil! (Virgin and unrefined) and if I am about to wear something irritating like booty shorts or go swimming I apply it again!! So far so good 😎
