Measuring more than what you really are???

Question

So today I went to my prenatal visit. I'm currently 25 weeks and I'm measuring 27 weeks. I'm just wondering has anyone else experienced this and what happened next? My OB didn't quite explain. She just said next appt I might get sent to get and ultrasound to measure baby again. I'm just curious to know does that mean my due date changed??

It's perfectly normal for your belly to measure +\-2 weeks. It could just be baby's position. I wouldn't worry at all. Some weeks I was ahead and some behind.

I'm measuring 5weeks ahead. I'll be doing another ultrasound to measure baby here pretty soon. I read about it and the cause could be a number of things. However, my doctor seems to thinks hes just a big baby.. fathers 6'4 and I'm 5'9. I'm currently 31weeks

My little girl is measuring about two weeks ahead in her size but my dr isn't concerned right now. 24 weeks.

My baby measured ahead for a good part of pregnancy. My doc wasn't concerned, said babies grow at different rates...

I measured 2-3 weeks bigger the end of my first pregnancy as well. Once I got around 28 weeks I think. My doctor never changed myedd, he just did my glucose test a little early. And then again after 3 weeks to double check and I was fine. He said it was just because of how big baby was and how my body carried my son:)
