Anxious to know... But scared to test

Question... My period is due tomorrow, yesterday I started spotting  but it was light pink then it disappeared at night I had dark brown spotting and today for most of the day I had dark brown spotting. Could this be implantation bleeding? This has never happened before am usually regular every month and when my period starts it looks normal never like this. Keeping my fingers crossed that I am pregnant been trying 2 years.
