Teething already?!

Is anybody else having their baby teething? And how are you handling it. My daughter is 12 weeks she will be 3 months in one week

I see little white tips breaking the gums at the bottom, and he has been showing the signs for weeks. I feel bad for him for being an early bird on this one, since he doesn't have the dexterity yet to hold teething toys in his mouth. He can kind of get them near his mouth, but not quite in. He drops things and gets angry a lot.

My son is almost 15 weeks old and teething already. He chews on his hands and anything else he can get his hands on. I give him homeopathic teething tablets and they seem to help a lot. Also, nursing seems to comfort him at times.

Yes totally, she's 14 weeks and sucking and chomping on her hand any chance she can get. Too young for teething gels so she has a couple of teething rings she likes, she also likes her gums being rubbed

My son is 12 weeks old on Tuesday and had been sucking on his hands and drooling an increasing amount. This has been going on since his two month check up...how is this happening already?!

My mom is a dental hygentist and she explained to me that many mothers think their baby is teething around the 2 month mark. What is generally actually happening is that around 2 months their salivary glands start really producing saliva, but they haven't really figured out how to swallow except during feeding. So they begin to drool a lot. At 2 months their sucking reflex is also very strong, so in addition to their drool, they start chewing on their hands, blankets, or whatever is around. My mom says generally early teething is around 4 months, and an average time for true teething is 6 months. Obviously those are generalities, so some may start way earlier or later. But typically anything before 4 months isn't truelh teething.

I was wondering myself. She has been drooling puddles and sticks everything in her mouth. She spends most of the day chewing on her fist. I finally gave her a small teething ring because she was gagging herself with her hand. She turned three months on the ninth.
