Will hives from an insect bite harm my unborn baby

I've had really bad hives for the past 24 hours I went to the doctor and they said it was most likely an insect bite. I took benadryl and the prescription they prescribed me and nothing works. I've also tried hydrocortisone, aloe, cold compresses, and a cold showers. Nothing seems to relieve the itch. I'm not getting a fever and I feel normal other then this horrendous itching. My baby's been very active all day, but I'm not sure if he could be harmed.
