Anyone on Glybride??

I have been having issues where I think my pill kicks in too late.  My blood sugar is dropping below 70 less then 2 hours after taking my pill.  Is anyone else having this issue??

I'm on Glybride and having issues also. Mine has dropped in the 40's a couple hours after I take it. Then it's extremely high the rest of the day. I'm taking 7.5 mg twice a day.

I was on it but it did absolutely nothing for me. It sounds like your doctor needs to lower your dosage! I was on 7.5 mg twice a day and still running close to 200s

Your prescription is probably too high of a dose for you. I started out on Glyburide and it didn't work for me (I had sugar levels near 200 at the time, now I'm on insulin). Call your doctor to have your med adjusted for you. It took several tries to get mine slightly right and I still stay above 100.

I take 2.5mg (half a dose) & even with a snack it drops low but without it my fasting is always above 100. Im ready to be done with gd.

Yup I've been taking glyburide for a week now and nothing has changed with my sugar levels.

I'm on 2.5 mg once before bed and the dietician told me to take it with my night time snack..also u still have to follow the diet and make sure u are getting enough carbs but not to many

Me I'm on the 5mg one  but I only half of it because when I take it my sugar to low I only take whole thing when I cheat on my diet. Lolll
